AFM® NG (Activated Filter Media) is a direct replacement for sand, produced from green and brown recycled glass and activated through a unique manufacturing process. AFM® NG is bio-resistant and does not allow bacteria to grow, eliminating biofouling within the filter bed.
AFM® filters particles down to 1 micron when used in conjunction with optimal coagulation and flocculation, delivering superior water quality compared to sand. It provides high performance, longer filter cycles, and reduces the need for chemical treatments.
